Námskeiðin fara fram á ensku og henta þeim sem hafa góðan grunn í burlesque, kabarett, dragi og sirkus. Ef þú ert að leita að námskeiðum fyrir byrjendur, mælum við með námskeiðum hjá Margréti Maack í Kramhúsinu.
Burlesque-Workshops December 12th in Kramhúsið
Each workshop costs 2900 kr and is an hour.
Workshops are taught in English and are suitable for those that have a background in burlesque, cabaret, drag and circus. If you are looking for a beginner class, Kramhúsið offers beginner classes that start in January.

Story Telling through Burlesque
Tiger Bay is known for her brilliant take on burlesque. In this workshop she will speak about her thought process and we will do exercises to get our creativity flowing.
ABOUT TIGER BAY
Tiger Bay, a multi-faceted weird person and Miss Coney Island 2017, loves telling stories through the medium of burlesque. She performs throughout New York City and regularly tours the Southeast with the Wham Bam Glitter Glam Show. She was a featured artist at Boston's 2017 AlternaTEASE Festival and the 2018 Nerdlesque Festival at Coney Island USA and has performed at tons of festivals and shows across America, Canada and recently, to international acclaim, in Reykjavik and Vienna! Her awards include the 2018 Savannah Burlesque Festival “Chicken and Waffles Award” (with Fancy Feast), the 2016 AlternaTEASE “WTF” Award, the 2015 New York Burlesque Festival “Huh?” Golden Pastie Award, and three White Elephant Silver Tusks: Class Clown 2017, Comic Genius 2018 and 2019 Chameleon Award. At Las Vegas' Burlesque Hall of Fame Weekend, Tiger performed in the “Best Debut” category in 2018 and in the Movers, Shakers, and Innovators Showcase in 2019!

Mastering the Attraction in you with Maine Attraction
This class will focus on combining elements of movement, sensuality, comedy and improvisation as an art of expression. You will learn walking, posing, transitions, musical cues and hits with your body, entrances and exits and the art of overall fierceness!
ABOUT MAINE ATTRACTION
Maine Anders captivates audiences every time she hits the stage. Coined the “Triple Threat of Burlesque” (dancer/actress/singer) she’s performed domestically and internationally, from MGM Grand's Studio 54 in Las Vegas, Le Bus Palladium (Paris), Buddha Bar (Beirut, Lebanon) to Dragon-i in Hong Kong. Energetic, sensual, and wildly charismatic, her uninhibited rhythmic style and sense of humor blend an ensemble of samba, belly dance, African, improvisation and contortion, and pole dancing into a movement she’s defined as *Burlesque Fusion.*. Maine, known on stage as “The Maine Attraction”, landed her first professional dance job as a teenager for MTV's Fight For Your Rights Campaign. Since then, she has performed alongside a number of greats including legends James Brown and Lionel Richie, pop sensations Jessica Simpson and Pharrell Williams, Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett, and burlesque divas Dita Von Tease and Amanda Lepore; making The Maine Attraction a legend in her own right. Her tenacious spirit has helped her become one of New York's most celebrated burlesque performers.

Tips and costume tricks with Mr. Gorgeous
The spandexpert Mr. Gorgeous makes all of his own attire and for other burlesque performers. Do you have a costume in mind but don't know how to execute the last details? Learn how to make costumes and brilliant strip tricks at the same time. Feel free to bring something that you are working on to get some extra help!
ABOUT MR. GORGEOUS

Fusing Boylesque, physical comedy, and circus, Gorgeous is a pure spectacle of foolishness and mayhem in the best possible sense. A shy guy, in a big body, Gorgeous works the stage with a timid confidence and strives to entertain with his geeky charm. Mr. Gorgeous showcases a variety of acts ranging from a battle with his “catch of the day” . . . a three foot long largemouth bass that strips and soaks, to his interpretation of classic burlesque with a Gorgeous twist.
Mr Gorgeous won the accolade of “Most Comedic” at the Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas and was named “Mr.Exotic World – King of Boylesque 2014” and ranked #4 in the Burlesque Top 50.
